What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for authentication state.

How we use cookies

CargoLinked uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential: authentication, session management, and security. These are required for the Platform to function.
  • Preferences: remembering settings such as theme or locale where applicable.
  • Analytics: understanding how visitors use the Platform to improve performance and features. We use Google Tag Manager with consent mode so analytics cookies are only used after you opt in.
  • Marketing: advertising measurement and related technologies, enabled only if you consent.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use:

  • Stripe: payment processing during checkout for Connected membership.
  • Supabase: authentication session management.
  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics: aggregated usage statistics and conversion measurement when you consent to analytics or marketing cookies.

Managing cookies

When you first visit CargoLinked, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage preferences by category.

You can reopen cookie settings anytime from the footer. Essential cookies cannot be disabled because they are required for sign-in and security.

Most browsers also allow you to refuse or delete cookies through settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core Platform features.

To opt out of non-essential analytics cookies after consenting, use Cookie settings in the footer or contact us at privacy@cargolinked.com.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Check this page for the latest information.
